Edwards Academy Philosophy

We are committed to developing and instilling a culture where education is valued. A culture which allows our students to become successful contributors to a rapidly changing world through Targeted and Personalized Learning Plans. As a non-traditional, accredited High School, Fred Edwards Academy is another route to graduation for those students who experience difficulty in a traditional school setting. Students work at their own pace, using online computer-based instruction with offline projects and assignments to ensure that the curriculum is relevant, rigorous, and meets Texas Performance Standards. Students can acquire credits on which they are behind and those that they still need at an accelerated pace. This allows students to be prepared for life beyond high school whether it be academically or vocationally.
